Floors Have Teeth Walkthrough
Struggling to get started?
The Beginning
Starting off, you arrive in the middle of an eery street after getting out of your car. The first thing you see if a couple of vending machines, but you don’t actually need to interact with them. What you need to do, is head to the small alleyway to the right! You can see the gap between the buildings, so you can’t miss it.
Head down the alleyway to reach an open area with metal fences, rubbish, and 2 NPCs. You can ignore these NPCs if you wish, they don’t unlock anything except for dialogue. Walk straight down the path to the door that takes you to the apartment building.
Bob’s Apartment
Make your way up the stairs until you spot an old lady sitting down by one of the doors. Speak with her to have a confusing conversation, and then interact with her again so she can give you an apartment key. Head up the steps to the next floor and use the key to open the door on the left. You’re now in Bob’s apartment!
His apartment is in an absolute state, with rotting food, dirt, and bugs crawling about. Bob’s in bed, and when you speak to him, he asks you to pick up a box of cereal for him. You do as he says, get in your car, and head to the shops. The cereal sits on a shelf at the back of the shop, and after a friendly exchange with the staff member, you get back in your car.
The Trailer Park
To your dismay, the car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Walk down the road until you spot the gap in the metal beam. Welcome to the trailer park! Here you can find the first puzzle in the game – we’ve got a guide on how to work out the Floors Have Teeth Code for the locker!
Once you get the correct code, and unlock the locker, you obtain the locker key. Now it’s time to head into the basement.
The Basement
The horror properly begins here! The remainder of the game takes place in the basement. Here, you come across a few more obstacles, including the Floors Have Teeth Radio Code puzzle.
Try your best to avoid the killer who stalks the halls of the basement. A sharp sound plays when he’s close by, so you have a little bit of time to get into a wardrobe/locker. If he spots you, he chases you until you hide, so take note of the wardrobe/locker locations.
From here, work your way through the basement and find each new area. The game instructs you to pick up any useful items you find. Eventually, you pick up a gun and ammo, which you can use against the killer to fend him off. However, you require this weapon for the final boss fight at the end of the game, so conserve the ammo as much as possible!
The Ending(s)
Further down into the basement, you meet another terrifying creature who wields an electric drill. Again, use your weapon to keep him away. While avoiding him, you need to search for the lift. Once found, you can pull the lever with the missing part that you discovered along the way.
After you activate the lift, it takes you up to the boss arena. Meet the Sump Stalker, a horrific monster that looks almost like a spider, but has grinding teeth and a penchant for vomiting. Shoot the monster as much as you can, whittling down its HP. Watch out for the mutated creatures that run around the arena though!
Try to not get killed by the Sump Stalker. There are 2 endings to reach, and they depend on whether or not you get the monster’s HP low enough before you’re defeated. To delve into the endings, read our Floors Have Teeth Endings guide.
