How to Get Gemstones
The only way to obtain gemstones in Fisch is by waiting for a meteor strike. This mini-event occurs randomly now and again, though there is no way to determine when it’ll happen. It’s important to note that it doesn’t have a preference for any weather type or season. However, acquiring and using the Meteor Totem can force a meteor strike.
Once a meteor falls from the sky and lands at Ancient Isles, a large hole in the ground appears, which is where a random gemstone sits in the middle. Interact with the gemstone to pick it up, and as mentioned, it’s random, so there’s no guarantee as to which gemstone it is.
Meteor Totem
To get the Meteor Totem, you need to head to Roslit Bay and enter Roslit Volcano. There’s an obstacle course along the rocks within the volcano, where you can find the Meteor Totem upon completion. It costs 75K coins in total, and while it isn’t overly affordable, it’s one of the cheaper totems.
You also have a chance of obtaining a Meteor Totem when opening Treasure Chests, but with the reward pool ever-growing, they’re rarer to get.

There are 5 gemstones to collect from Ancient Isles, though it’s unknown if more will be added in future updates, and if other islands will get their own! Each gemstone has a drop rate chance.
