Fisch Energy Crystal Locations
When working towards obtaining the Heaven’s Rod in Fisch, there’s a part of the process which requires you to find a total of 4 Energy Crystals. Their locations differ, with a couple having a more difficult way of procuring them. Firstly, let’s start off with those that are easy to find on the Northern Expedition island!
Green Energy Crystal
Head to Campsite 2 on the Northern Expedition island. There’s an NPC to the side, sitting on the ground, who is pointing to the entrance of a small cavern by the campsite. Head through the cavern until you see the large pool of water.
From here, look for the NPC that is sitting behind an ice spike, donned in all black, with the name ‘???’. Keep speaking with him until he gives you the Green Energy Crystal!
Blue Energy Crystal
You need to be close to Campsite 1 for this Energy Crystal! This campsite is located at the Northern Summit. There’s a cave nearby, which is where the Blue Energy Crystal is located.
However, it’s encased in ice. To break the ice, you need the Pickaxe tool. You can purchase this item from the cavern beside Campsite 2 for 5K coins, which is a cheap investment!
Once you break the ice with the Pickaxe, you can collect the Blue Energy Crystal. This requires a few hits, so don’t be discouraged if it doesn’t crack the first time.
Yellow Energy Crystal
Right, this is where things get a little more complicated. To obtain the Yellow Energy Crystal, an Avalanche event must be active. As for the location of the crystal, you first need to head to the Overgrowth Caves on the Northern Expedition island.
Next, look for the platform beneath you, which you can drop down to. Make sure the platform has a white tree! If not, it’s not the correct one. As long as the Avalance event is currently active, you can find the crystal around here.
This event happens randomly, but you can force one to start by using an Avalance Totem. You can purchase this item at the Northern Summit for 150K coins.
Red Energy Crystal
This Energy Crystal takes the longest to obtain. When you’re at the Northern Summit section of the Northern Expedition island, seek out an NPC that stands next to the pedestals (these are the pedestals upon which you place the Energy Crystals!).
He provides you with some hints as to where mysterious buttons are located across various islands. You must travel to Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Ancient Isles, Snowcap Island, and the Forsaken Shores.
Buttons
- Moosewood
- Look for the leaderboards nearby to the spawn point on Moosewood to find the button
- Roslit Bay
- If you know where the Angler stans on Roslit Bay, as well as Ashe (the NPC who purchases Albino fish), you’ll spot the button in no time!
- Ancient Isles
- Head to the lighthouse at Ancient Isles and look at the door to find the button
- Snowcap
- Climb up to where Wilson stands (he gives you the Lost Rod quest) and look for a lamppost with a button
- Forsaken Shores
- Head to the right of Forsaken Shores to visit the watchtower. The button is on this structure!
After interacting with all 5 buttons, you can head back to the NPC who gave you the task at the Northern Summit. He then confesses that he has the Red Energy Crystal, and offers you 2 choices.
Select the option that requires you to purchase the crystal for 250K coins to obtain it. Either option leads to you having to pay for the Energy Crystal, but buying it outright saves you the usual fee of being killed and respawning!
