Fisch Continental Drift - Second Sea Removed and Rod Mastery!

The Fisch Continental Drift update has added some major changes to the game. To get rods in Fisch, you either need to complete quests, explore locations, or spend your in-game coins! So, with that, read our How to Make Money in Fisch walkthrough.
Fisch Continental Drift
What’s new in Continental Drift? Firstly, let’s go over the major change: the removal of the Second Sea.
Second Sea Removed
Yep, the Second Sea map in Fisch has been removed! This means that you can no longer travel there, and all Second Sea quests aren’t available anymore. The Bestiaries for both Second Sea and First Sea have been merged, instead of being on separate pages. A lot of players were not happy with the Second Sea due to its high unlock requirements, such as reaching level 250, and the fact that it was an unnecessary addition to Fisch.
Now, all of the locations within the Second Sea are accessible via the general map. So, new players can explore the game freely, just like how Fisch was back when it was first released. Of course, there are still areas that you need to work towards unlocking, such as Atlantis.
Rod Mastery
As well as plenty of new Rod Skins, the Rod Mastery feature is now available in Fisch. Not all rods have Masteries available right now, but here are those that do:
- Steady Rod
- Heavens Rod
- Aurora Rod
- No-Life Rod
- King’s Rod
- Wisdom Rod
- Trident Rod
- Zeus Rod
- Mythical Rod
- Rod of the Zenith
- Flimsy Rod
- Summit Rod
- Seraphic Rod
- Midas Rod
- Abyssal Spectre Rod
- Magnet Rod
- Rod of the Exalted One
- Rod of the Forgotten Fang
- Rod of the Depths
- Etheral Prism Rod
To access the Mastery page for a rod, you need to click on the crown icon on that particular rod within your Equipment Bag. From here, you can see a variety of quests for that specific rod, which reward you with different items upon completion.
For instance, the No-Life Rod has a quest called ‘Endless Grind’, which requires you to catch 500 fish with the rod, and in return, you get the Hexed Luminescence Lantern. For some of the Rod Masteries, you obtain a brand-new rod skin when you complete all of the Mastery quests for that rod.
