Arcane Lineage Beastmaster - Skills and Trainer Location

Love nothing more than hunting monsters in RPGs? Then you likely want to become an Arcane Lineage Beastmaster. That’s where this guide comes in. Here, I’m going to tell you everything you need to know about the sub class, including a list of passive and active skills, the trainer’s location, and the best super class to combine it with. What’s more, I’ll update this guide whenever anything changes, be it a new skill, balance changes, or a new feature.
For those unaware, Arcane Lineage is a hardcore Roblox RPG that plays like the classics. You’re thrown into a world in which you have to simply survive, picking a class, completing quests, and looting equipment. It doesn’t hold your hand at all, with you having to figure out everything for yourself. Speaking of the classics, the combat is turn-based, which will appeal to fans of classic Final Fantasy. That’s not to say it doesn’t have a foot in the present though. As a fully online game, you never have to go it alone in Arcane Lineage.
You can check it out on Roblox. I’ve put together guides of the other subclasses too, if you’re interested. This includes the Arcane Lineage Musician and Arcane Lineage Alchemist.
Arcane Lineage Beastmaster
Now, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about the Arcane Lineage Beastmaster.
What is the Beastmaster Sub Class?
The Beastmaster is sub class in Arcane Lineage that specialises in hunting monsters. The primary use case for this class is to ‘mark’ your enemies, adding them to your bestiary if you defeat them. This provides you with better drop rates for any monsters you’ve defeated following a mark.
Not only this, but you can sneak to avoid encounters entirely. This slows down your movement and damages you over time, but it’s really handy if you want to grab an item in a dangerous location and don’t want to fight.
There’s plenty of utility to the Beastmaster class, and it’s a great choice for endgame players seeking the best loot.
Passive Abilities for the Beastmaster
The Beastmaster’s passive abilities provide endgame players with plenty of utility. You’ve got a sneak ability and a bestiary, which increases your drop rates.
- Sneak: Crouch, avoiding encounters but taking damage over time and moving more slowly.
- Bestiary: When you kill a ‘marked’ enemy, you add them to your bestiary. Enemies in the bestiary have better drop rates, and you can open it at any moment to check.
Active Abilities for the Beastmaster
There’s only one active ability for the Beastmaster, and it’s your mark skill. Not only does it help you access those improved drop rates, but it deals respectable damage, making it a great opening attack in combat.
- Mark: Mark an enemy, adding them to your bestiary upon death.
Best Super Class for the Beastmaster
Unlike the other two sub classes, I’d argue that there is no best super class for the Beastmaster. Instead, I recommend that all players pick this class as soon as they reach the endgame and use it to get the best gear. Mark the boss that you need to defeat to improve drop rates, and sneak to get the best items from dangerous areas.
Then, when you are fully geared up, pick the Musician if you’re a support class, and the Alchemist if you’re anything else.
How to Unlock the Beastmaster
The Beastmaster is actually the easiest of the three sub classes to unlock, which further reinforces its use for new endgame players. You want to head to Caldera Town, leave via the village’s right exit, and head straight until you see a hut. Go behind the hut and you will find the Beastmaster trainer by a tree.
