Anime Defenders Pink Demon Witch

The Pink Demon Witch unit is a brand-new Mythical addition to the roster in Update 3. She’s currently one of the Meta Support units, despite being fresh to the game! This puts her up against the Pink Rockstar (read our Pink Rockstar guide!), the only previous rare Meta farming unit. There’s Bloomer too, but she’s an Epic unit that is a more easily obtainable unit when it comes to farming Yen.

I reckon the Pink Rockstar has some major competition with both the Pink Demon Witch, and its evolved version, the Pink Demon Mage! But before that, let’s take a closer look.

Who is the Pink Demon Witch?

Like the Pink Rockstar, the Pink Demon Witch/Mage is used as a unit to farm Yen. In fact, the latter seems to be a much more powerful unit for this role. Does it make the Pink Rockstar obsolete? Not at all. The Pink Demon Witch may be stronger when it comes to farming as a whole, but you won’t struggle when using the Pink Rockstar unit.

The main difference is the ability. The Pink Rockstar has an ability called ‘Play Rockstar’, which buffs the DMG of all nearby allies by 20%. This makes the Pink Rockstar unit useful for farming Yen AND buffing the team, whereas the Pink Demon Witch/Mage’s main purpose is increasing your Yen income.

How to Evolve the Pink Demon Witch

You can evolve the Pink Demon Witch into the Pink Demon Mage by crafting a singular Demon Flower. To obtain a Demon Flower, you need to acquire various Star Rifts first. The Star Rifts you need are:

  • 1 Light Star Rift
  • 12 Yellow Star Rifts
  • 2 Blue Star Rifts
  • 4 Purple Star Rifts
  • 1 Rainbow Star Rift
  • 3 Red Star Rifts
  • 14K Yen

Once you have all of the required materials, you can then obtain the Pink Demon Mage. Overall, she’s a much more upgraded version of the former. However, she unlocks the Soul Capture ability once evolved. This ability allows her to lower the movement speed of enemies, as long as they’re within the AoE. Additionally, the enemies who are slowed down will then offer up their souls (only effective for a total of 10 ‘souls’) to the Pink Demon Mage, which rewards you with Yen.
