Anime Defenders Crystals Guide

If you’re familiar with Roblox anime-inspired Tower Defense titles, you may have an idea of what the Crystals do already. Identified for its purple gem appearance, Crystals allow for Trait rerolls. This unique currency is the only way for you to apply Traits to units, offering unique buffs and properties to further your team’s strength.

Traits work similar to a gamble, you input a unit into the Trait Reroller and use a sum of Crystals to roll for a Trait. Something to consider is the Trait properties and how they match up with your unit. Just because a Trait is of high rarity doesn’t mean it is a one-size-fits-all, as some Traits work better with some units over others. For example, Farm Units which generate more cash per wave would benefit better from the Midas Touch 1 Trait than Almighty 1.

All units may only have 1 Trait applied at any time, and rerolling will reset that Trait regardless of whether the new Trait is higher or lower in rarity. To get started on Trait rolls, head into the Summons area from the main lobby. On your left on entry is the “Trait Reroll” area where you can begin rolling for Traits.

How To Get Crystals

You obtain Crystals through Quests or with Robux. However, I assume that as the game evolves, Codes will introduce Crystals as a reward as well. Quests come in multiple forms, Daily, Weekly and Infinite. So if you want to keep your Anime Defenders playthrough F2P I recommend checking out the new roster of quests that refresh every day and every week. Naturally, the permanent quests are more bountiful, so make sure you complete these too to maximise your Crystals!
