How to Get Frog Keys
To obtain Frog Keys in the first place, you need to defeat the Frogs that you find across the map. They tend to hang around the ponds and bodies of water, so make sure to head towards those if you’re looking specifically for Frog Keys.
Every type of Frog has a chance to drop a Frog Key, whether it’s Green, Purple, or Blue. The Frog Keys aren’t hard to miss as they glow neon green under the water! There’s also a chance of Frog Keys randomly spawning in the water without having to defeat a Frog.
When you defeat Green Frogs, they drop Morsels, which you can cook and eat to replenish your hunger. However, defeating any frogs that are Blue or Purple drops two Frogs that you need to defeat, too. If it’s a Blue Frog, it drops two Green Frogs, and if it’s a Purple Frog, it drops two Blue Frogs.
How to Use Frog Keys
You cannot use the Frog Keys until you have 8 of them. As you explore the map, you can find a lake with a whirlpool – this is Frog Lake! By jumping into the whirlpool, you teleport to the Frog Cave, which you can unlock with the 8 Frog Keys.
Once you’re in the Frog Cave, there are lots of different Frogs, as well as the Frog King boss. By defeating the mobs and the boss, you can open the Frog Chest. The Frog Chest contains one of four items, including:
- Blowdart
- Poison Spear
- Frog Boots
- Poison Armour
