Type Soul Rukon District Guide

The Rukon District is the most important area within Soul Society. If its wider location name wasn’t a dead giveaway, you must be a Soul Reaper to access this area. You become a Soul Reaper in one of two ways; use a Soul Ticket to reset your lineage if you previously selected Arrancar or Quincy. Or, on a new save file, allow a Hollow or other player to kill you so that you become a Lost Soul.

As a Lost Soul, you transport automatically to Karakura Town. Whilst here, find the Kisuke NPC and talk to him to turn into a Soul Reaper. Kisuke sits on a bench in the centre of the town and wears a striped hat – you can’t miss him! After speaking with Kisuke, you’ll be transported to the Rukon District inside of Soul Society as a new Soul Reaper.

Soul Reaper Progression

Rukon District is your hub for growth as a Soul Reaper. Here, you’ll take on missions, and quests and grow as a Soul Reaper to eventually get your Bankai, Shinigami and other movesets. The first thing you should be doing is heading for a division. Here, you assort into a group which tackles a specific route of quests to earn different types of EXP. In total, there are 13 divisions scattered around Soul Society, so choose wisely.

  • First Division – Collect shadows from the Hueco Mundo forest
  • Second Division – Kill Hollows around Soul Society
  • Third Division – Take Lost Souls to checkpoints around Rukon
  • Fourth Division – Heal players regardless of lineage within Soul Society
  • Fifth Division – Use Hollow bait to spawn and kill Hollows in Karakura Town
  • Sixth Division – Touch checkpoints around Karakura Town
  • Seventh Division – Touch checkpoints around Soul Society
  • Eighth Division – Use Hollow bait to spawn and kill Hollows in Hueco Mundo
  • Ninth Division – Touch checkpoints before the timer runs up in Soul Society
  • Tenth Division – Kill highlighted Hollows around Hueco Mundo
  • Eleventh Division – Deal damage to players around Soul Society
  • Twelfth Division – Play an Osu Minigame
  • Thirteenth Division – Touch checkpoints around Hueco Mundo around the castle before a timer runs up

It seems you've stumbled upon my bio! I'm Sho, your local weeb. Off the clock I am typically watching anime, reading manga, or doing art. I think it's safe to say that all my unpaid thoughts revolve around anime... That said, watch One Piece! (Or don't I'm just a biography.)
