With the new update slowly releasing, Type Soul has welcomed some new NPCs to help you on your quest to reach Hell! This Type Soul Radio Quest Guide tells you how to complete the quest line and reach Hell.

Type Soul Radio Quest Guide
First, you must be an Elite-grade player to reach Hell. To begin the questline, locate and listen to the radio in Wandenreich which plays a code. To find the radio, enter the Wandenreich city and hug the outskirts on the left, follow the path and head toward the castle-like building. At the base of it is a door with two lanterns on either side and the radio is inside.
Next, speak to the Mephistopheles NPC also located in Wandenreich. When leaving the room with the radio, follow the path down and cut through the buildings on your right. On the street, you’ll see a white-haired NPC sitting against a grey wall. If you’ve completed the steps correctly so far he will say; “You heard it, right? Did you?”.
Now you must find the Calcabrina NPC. At the base of the stairs in Wandenreich turn to your right and walk in a straight line. He should be standing against a pillar. When you interact with this NPC, you need to get through a chunk of dialogue until he kills you using a beam attack. If the NPC doesn’t kill you, you must win a Raid first and then re-trigger the dialogue.
Jeanette NPC
More conversation! Next, you find the Jeanette NPC who is located to the right of the Wandenreich bridge and down the street. Jeanette has one of two dialogue options:
- “You seem like you don’t need to progress anymore… You should go to the otherworld!”
- This is the correct dialogue option and means the previous steps have been a success
- “You seem like you don’t need to progress anymore… You should go fight in the Arena!”
- Go listen to the radio again and talk to Jeanette again
- Any other dialogue option means you aren’t Elite Grade
Now you need to make your way to Rukon District and listen to the radio there then re-locate the Jeanette NPC in Rukon District. She has 3 spawn locations so it shouldn’t be too hard to find her. The radio is on the floor outside a brown house in the far left corner of the district. Speaking to Jeanette after listening to the radio will trigger a cutscene and one of multiple dialogue options.
After this, return back to Wandenreich and speak to Mephistopheles again. Once this is done, the questline is complete for now until the Hell update fully rolls out! At least you’re prepared.
When Will This Guide Update?
As soon as Hell is fully implemented into the game, I will update this guide with the final segment of the questline on how to reach hell. For now, this is the preparation you can do before then to make the transition to hell much quicker.
