How to Unlock Schrift

So, how exactly do you obtain a Schrift? You need to be a Quincy to unlock the Schrift ability.

  • Head to Wandenreich City
  • Walk inside the castle to search for Balance (an NPC!)
  • Interact with Balance

This is when you’ll find out that you need to be a certain grade to meet the requirement – the consensus is that it’s around Grade 2.

  • Balance will say “Do you wish to return to your origins?”
  • If you happen to meet the requirements, you can select “Yes”
  • Head to the Worshipper Statue downstairs (it’s the area you visited to become a Quincy!)
  • Interact with the Worshipper Statue

You will then need to meet the requirements before you’re able to progress. Let’s take a closer look at said requirements.

  • 1 Arrancar, 5 Fishbones, 1 Adjuchas, 1 Menos, 1 Shinigami

Once you’ve defeated the NPCs/players above, you can move on to the next steps.

  • If you meet the requirements, a message will appear that reads “Letters are designated to the worthy. Display yourself in real battle”
  • Select “I will”
  • You will then be given the requirements to unlock a Schrift via text on your screen

It’s important to note that your progression will be reset if you die!

All Schrift Types

There are 4 rarities of Schrifts: Mythic, Legendary, Rare, and Common.

Mythic

You have a 0.5% chance of getting these Mythic Schrifts.

  • Deathdealing
    • DD attacks provide the enemy with a strong dosage. When this meter reaches 100, they take DMG that scales off of their max HP.
    • Gift Ball (T)
    • Gift Bad (G)
  • Balance
    • Stack Order when attacking the enemy. Each stack increases the power of your abilities!
    • Precedence Slice (T)
    • Inbalance (G)

Legendary

Legendary Schrifts have a 3% drop rate chance!

  • Royal
    • Gain a Crest when using the T and G abilities, which allows you to gain an additional hit for each attack
    • Enhancement (T)
    • Resilience (G)
  • Miracle
    • Low Ruler (T)
    • God’s Direction (G)
  • Visionary
    • Successful parries and attacking enemies with Visionary abilities buff the percentage of Imagination
    • You can deal damage and stun enemies with a singular parry with the Stone Hand passive
    • Your defense is increased by 90% when you press the T key and your Imagination is at max
    • Firing Squadron (T)
    • Debris Pillars (G)
  • Butterfly
    • Flutterfall (T)
    • Aerial Grace (G)
  • Superstar
    • Star Eagle Kick (T)
    • Star Flash (G)
  • X-Axis
    • You gain a Sniper weapon, which is infused with Reishi
    • Diagram (T)
    • Fissure (G)
  • Explode
    • Bomb Kick (T)
    • Firing Fist (G)
  • Glutton
    • When you grip someone, you replenish your HP
    • Maw (T)
    • Devour (G)
  • Zombie
    • Fill the Blood Meter so you can turn the enemy into a zombie who fights alongside you
    • Blood Splatter (T)
    • Self-infliction (G)

Rare

With a 10% drop rate chance, these Schrifts are more common than others, but still tricky to get at times.

  • Thunderbolt
    • When successfully using Galvano Blase, you are linked to the enemy with a tether. Splitting Thunder then summons an AoE attack which deals damage to the connected enemy and ragdolls them

  • Fear
    • Fear Extension (T)
    • Impale (G)
  • Power
    • Diamond Kick (T)
    • Power Punch (G)

  • Compulsory

    • Nerve Pull (T)
    • Invade (G)

Common

The more common Schrifts have an 86.5% drop rate.

  • Wind
    • Rend (T)
    • Slice (G)
  • Iron
    • Adamantine Kicks (T)

  • Heat
    • Hitting an enemy successfully inflicts them with the Burn debuff.
    • Scorched Shot (T)
    • Burn Blade (G)
