How do you get a Type Soul Soul Gem, and what do they do? There’s another new item in Type Soul, which is the Hell Stone! Our other guide discusses how to obtain it and what you can use it for.

Keep in mind that you can only use the Soul Gem item as long as you already have your True Mode unlocked, such as True Bankai, True Segunda, etc.

How to Get a Soul Gem

The main way of obtaining a Soul Gem is by redeeming the 1 Mil Code, which is:

  • thisiswhyweclash1m

It’s more than likely that this code no longer works, as it was released to celebrate a milestone for Type Soul. However, you can craft Soul Gems! In fact, Crafted Soul Gems are much better than Locked Soul Gems, as you can use them as many times as you want.

How to Craft a Soul Gem

Unfortunately, we don’t know the crafting recipe for the Soul Gem just yet, but seen as how it’s a Mythical rarity item that is extremely overpowered, I assume the required items are tricky to obtain. To craft any item in Type Soul, you must visit the Library in Hell, which you unlock after completing the Maze in Ring 3. Go up the staircase in the Library to find the Crafting NPC!

  • Once we know the required items and the grid placements for the Soul Gem crafting recipe, we’ll add it to this guide!

What Do Soul Gems Do?

With a Soul Gem, you can change your True Bankai! The Soul Gem must be its Locked variant, though, and you can only use it once. You don’t need to complete any requirements or quests, so it’s the easiest way to change your True Bankai as of right now. However, if you have the Crafted Soul Gem, you can use the Soul Gem as many times as you want.

When you equip the Soul Gem and use it, it then turns into an Activated Soul Gem as it has taken away your True Mode. You can then reroll your current element, but make sure you unlock your Full Res, Volt, or Bankai. It’s a great way of swapping your element for something else, such as Miracle.

Once you’re happy with the element, you can use the Activated Soul Gem to add that element to your True Mode.
