Tycoon RNG Secrets
As of right now, there’s actually only one secret in Tycoon RNG. That singular secret is the button! You may have noticed it when heading to the crafting area, where an NPC sits beside a cauldron. You can find the button outside the crafting area, slightly hidden underneath a tree trunk (take a look at the feature image for this guide to see the location!).
The Secret Button
After the latest update, there isn’t an overall solution to the button yet. Players have noticed that if you right-click it, it now turns blue instead of red. However, whether you click with the left or right side of your mouse doesn’t matter entirely, as it still goes back to black after a few seconds.
The major update regarding this mysterious button is that members of the game’s Discord server receive the Shrimp role if they solve it. This doesn’t really mean anything, but it’s an extra reward for solving it… I guess? You also get a luck boost for a short while upon solving it.
Clues
To add to the mystery, there’s apparently an owl who knows more about the button than we do. If you speak to the NPC sitting inside the crafting cave, you can ask him about it. Interacting with him, as usual, opens up the crafting menu window, so make sure you click on the question mark icon above his head!
Once you mention the button, he suddenly starts talking about a gate switch. If you question him about the gate switch, he quickly wraps up the conversation and states that ‘it isn’t for us’. Speaking of the gate switch, a message in the Discord server mentions that this elusive gate switch makes it easier to solve the button mystery. This gate becomes available once the button turns purple, but it’s not clear how you make the button purple…
