The First Descendant Divine Punishment Guide
The Divine Punishment weapon is of Legendary rarity and can only be obtained by completing a side quest. This quest is aptly called ‘Divine Punishment Research Request’ and is part of the ‘Ultimate Weapon Special Training’ series.
How to Obtain the Divine Punishment Weapon
The task is to collect the required materials to research and craft the Divine Punishment weapon. Once you’ve collected all that you need, you can head to Albion to visit Anais to begin the research for the weapon. Luckily, you get the Divine Punishment Polymer Syncytium by working on the quest, so that’s one less thing to go searching for.

As well as these materials, your Research Level must also be Rank 10 and you need to have 100K in-game cash saved to conduct the weapon’s research.

Divine Punishment Nano Tube
To get the Nano Tube blueprint, you must have the Amorphous Material Pattern: 022. To get this pattern, visit the Echo Swamp, look to the right of the Abandoned Zone, and look for the quest called ‘Seed Vault’. This mission has a Monster Level of 38, and the drop rate for the 022 pattern is 100%.
Next, dive into the Dead Bride boss fight with the Amorphous Material Pattern: 022 in your inventory. Keep in mind that defeating the boss is required, as you need the loot box at the end of the battle. Open the loot box for a 38% chance of obtaining the blueprint for the Divine Punishment Nano Tube.
Divine Punishment Synthetic Fiber
For this blueprint, the Amorphous Material Pattern: 010 is the requirement. This pattern is obtainable via a mission in the Classified Area in the Sterile Land. The mission’s name is ‘Unknown Laboratory’ with a Monster Level of 21. The 010 pattern has a 100% chance to drop! The boss fight for Synthetic Fiber is Stunning Beauty. Upon defeat, the loot box has a 38% chance to drop the blueprint for the Fiber.
Divine Punishment Blueprint
For the weapon’s actual blueprint, the Amorphous Material Pattern you need to collect is 014. The method of obtaining this pattern is a little more tricky when you compare it to the others, mainly because it isn’t a guaranteed drop.
Firstly, head to the Lost Supply Depot on the Vespers map. The mission itself is the ‘Lost Supply Depot: Vulgus Strategic Outpost’. The drop rate for the 014 pattern is 20%, but you can also get an additional 5 to 20% bonus chance if you manage to evade all enemies.
Once you have the pattern, you then need to complete the ‘Void Fusion Reactor – Vespers Lost Supply Depot’ Void Mission. But, the drop isn’t a guarantee, so you may have to replay this mission a few times.
