99 Nights in the Forest Squid Kid

The Squid Kid is the third missing child you’ll likely come across. The Dino Kid is first, followed by the Kraken Kid, then the Squid Kid, and then the Koala Kid. He wears a striped white and black shirt and a hat that has a yellow Kraken on it.

Squid Kid Location

You can find the Squid Kid deep in the forest. Therefore, your campfire needs to be at level 5 to unlock that area. If you check his missing poster and interact with it, there will be an arrow at the top pointing you in the direction of him, and how far away he is. As each map is different, there isn’t an exact location with fixed coordinates that we can give.

He is the third most traumatised child out of everyone. In his poster, you can see him lost in the woods using a flashlight, where he finds a cave. You can see the word ‘RUN’ on the wall, as well as blood. Then, the Deer appears behind the child who takes him.

How To Save Squid Kid

The order of the children not only shows how traumatised they are, but also how hard it is to save them. As Squid Kid is third, he makes for a tough retrieval.

There are two bears that guard the cave he is locked in. You need to defeat them both, as they will drop the yellow key. You use this to unlock the door to save him. Compared to wolves, bears have a lot of HP and can be hard to defeat.

Make sure you have a long-range weapon, as you don’t want to get close. The Rifle, Ractical Shotgun, Ray Gun, and Laser Cannon are worth using.
