99 Nights in the Forest Kraken Kid
There are four kids to save in 99 Nights in the Forest to ‘complete’ the game, although some players theorise that there’s a secret 5th kid, too.
Where to Find the Kraken Kid
The Kraken Kid is usually the second NPC you save in 99 Nights in the Forest, with Dino Kid being the first. However, this isn’t always the case! To know if you’ve found the Kraken Kid, check to see if it’s wearing a blue hat that has eyes.
The important thing to remember is that the location of each kid changes every time. However, they appear after certain camp levels. For the Kraken Kid, this is camp level 4. Outside the bunker that she is hiding in, four Alpha Wolves are roaming around, so be careful. You need a key to open the gate, particularly the Blue Key. Once you open the gate, head down the steps into the bunker to find a white door.
When you open this door, you find the Kraken Kid, whom you can then save. She sits on the floor with spiral eyes, likely due to being scared.
Upgrading the Camp to Level 4
To get your camp to level 4, you need to use at least 50 to 75 Wooden logs. Sometimes it may be more! But, you can also use 9 to 12+ Gas Canisters or 23+ pieces of Coal. Unless you have a Biofuel Processor machine at this point, which requires 30+ Biofuel to upgrade the camp to level 4.
Upon reaching level 4, you can head out to find the Kraken Kid. She does not spawn if your camp is below level 4!
