99 Nights in the Forest Frog Secrets

Let’s get straight into covering all the secrets that still exist as of the Frog Update.

  • Yay Fishing: If you type “Yay fishing” into the textbox whilst fishing, the game will deposit two diamonds at your feet for free! This only works once, though.
  • Frog Pond: There are several bodies of water, each with unique fish spawn. But, did you know that the Frog Pond inside the boss’s cave drops Armour and Weapons if you fish there? It’s basically a way to get the Poison Master Class for free! Or farm the remainder of the frog gear if you didn’t get what you liked from the chest.
    • Poison Spear: 3% chance
    • Poison Armour: 1% chance
    • Blowdart: 1% chance
    • Frog Boots: 1% chance
  • Jellyfish: Eating a Jellyfish (uncooked) gives the same speed boost as eating chillies, allowing you to sprint without consuming stamina for around 5-8 seconds.
  • The Deer: You meet the main antagonist on night one, but did you know that the Deer will not attack you for leaving your camp on the first two nights? Utilise this extra time to loot!
  • Cakes: On rare occasions, cakes can grow in a garden plot, and are multi-harvest, meaning you can stockpile them! They can also be placed in a cookpot.

What Secrets Were Removed?

Whilst some secrets were added, others were removed, including the ability to put doors inside of sacks. Players could once steal them from cabins to take back to their camp. Chances are, this was removed to prevent players from using a cheap way to fortify against the Cultists.
