Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin disposed Mykhaylo "HoT" Novopashyn in the bronze match on Gnoll Wood and Turtle Rock in style.
First game Happy played his regular gargoyles, while HoT went for an unusual strategy, that according to Happy never really works. Going Beastmaster, fast tech and then dryads along with AoWs, HoT was not able to break Happy.
Second game was very intense, according to Happy. Happy thinks that he won partly because of HoT being so nervous.
- If he lost he would have missed Top 3, says Happy and adds that the game was so intense, having 10 units with the HP bar on red at a time in the battle.
Happy did not feel unconfident after his loss versus ToD in the tiebreaker. Despite the runover, Happy felt confident.
- I don't think there's many Europeans who practice as much as me, said Happy to SK-Gaming afterwards, feeling confident from his practice.
Happy also mentioned he was very proud for his country, as he managed to win a bronze medal for Russia. His compatriot XyLigan has placed fourth twice in WCG, but never a medal.
