Lyn could lift the trophy in Athens a couple of hours ago. A 2-0 win over Moon in the grand made sure the Korean Orc could claim his tenth (!) top 3 placement this year.

2008 is the year of the Lyn. Today he could cash in 7,500$ and a ticket to the ESWC 2009 finals. Throughout 2008, Lyn has won a total of 71,030$ (according to SK-Gaming profile), and has ten top 3 placements, five of them first placings.

June "Lyn" Park defeated Yoan "ToD" Merlo in the playoff semi final by a 2-1 score, while he saw his new nemesis Jang "Moon" Jae Ho crush Du Seop "WhO" Chang in the other end of the brackets.

A highly anticipated finals awaited at 20:00, and Lyn took the lead on Twisted Meadows right away after a great counter against Moon's talons, dryads and mercenaries. Lyn's shadow hunter showed no sign of grand final shakes, as it hexxed its way to Lyn's first game point.

Second game, Moon went back to his usual and razor sharp mass talons strategy, here supported by demon hunter, tinker and beastmaster. Lyn countered in regular manner, with a blademaster, a tauren chieftain and a mix of raiders and spirit walkers. Lyn was able to edge out the win after the blademaster's lightning shield shocked Moon's demon hunter into oblivion. The game was then turned to Lyn's favour, and Lyn forced Moon to fold.

The third place match was won by ToD who defeated WhO by a 2-1 score. The third place position gave ToD 2,000$, while WhO had to settle for 1,000$. Moon gained 4,500$ for his second place.
