viOlet. Photo: Julia ChristophersLast Tuesday marked the end of the round robin groups in the XP League Invitational, which saw Kim Dong "viOlet" Hwan, Du Sub "WhO" Jang and June "Lyn" Park go through undefeated.
Jin Wook "MichaeL" Roh came out on first place in Group C with 2-1 alongside Eom Hyo "FoCuS" Sub. The SK-Gaming player was awarded the first place in the group due to defeating FoCuS earlier in the group stage.
Illustrious Night Elf Kim Sung "ReMinD" Sik was able to secure his second place on the last playday when defeating the amateur Clan GO player Lee Seung "Shine" Hoon.
Kim Sung "Myth" Yeon, one of the few veteran Human players still actively playing, had already secured his advancement from Group B after defeating WC3L star player Shy and newcomer Toby[Made] in the two initial rounds. The last playday paired up the sturdy Human against the ESWC 2008 champion WhO on Ancient Isles on which WhO came out victorious.
Entering the playoffs, viOlet is paired up against Check, while MichaeL is set to play Myth.
An clashing Orc mirror is to expect when WhO takes on FoCuS, while Lyn will take on former SK team mate ReMinD.
