A contracted elfittaja has just recently left his team mates on the ESL team sheet as offers tempted him so. There is, however, a problem in the action as his contract is not yet to be disbanded. GosuGamers holds exclusive information on the matter.

With full rights, the management can to refuse elfittaja his departure, despite how tempting the offers are. Lari 'D.Devil' Syrota, part of the management of hoorai, exclusively tells GosuGamers that they do not want to see their key player leave this early.

Read the full story, explained by D.Devil:

"I think it is comprehensible that, from our point of view, it doesn't seem that compelling to remove Samuli 'elfittaja' Sihvonen, Lari states. He can be considered to be the key player in our team and if you take a look at our recent performances, it becomes evident that he is an irreplaceable player for hoorai.XQ. If he would leave us, we would need a top-notch replacement as soon as possible - you can imagine how much this would cost us. On the other hand, the team that approached him didn't seem too interested in making us an offer that overcomes our huge discomfort. Thus, we had to cancel the negotiations. I don't feel like there is anything we could blame ourselves for. We have always treated Samuli well, supplying him with everything he needs, sending him to several events and clearly stating that we wouldn't hesitate to send him to any other events he'd like to attend. His salary also doesn't give him any reason to complain: When we contracted him in October 2007, we gave him a pretty good offer considering his market value at that time, in fact we even managed to out-bid mTw. In addition, he has a good relationship to all of his team-mates and never had expressed any kind of anxiety - he enjoyed being a part of hoorai Warcraft III. hoorai.XQ accurately fulfilled its part of the contract and there are no rational reasons for Samuli to stop playing for us - in fact, if he wouldn't have received any offer, he wouldn't even dream about doing so. Samuli's destructive behavior seriously harms our business... what are we going to do now? We're a professional organization and, thus, rely on stability and the capability to plan on long terms. Finding a decent replacement in such a short time will be an almost impossible task and, in the end, the problems his unexpected refusal to play causes might cost us several thousands of Euros. So, if Samuli refuses to play for hoorai.XQ, it is the only logical consequence that he will not be eligible for any other clan unless his contract runs out. Of course, our contracts would make it possible for us to force him to continue playing for us, however we do not see any point in doing this. As long as he is not interested in achieving the best possible results for our team, we have to get along without him. So, from a contractual point of view, Samuli is simply suspended. However, of course he still represents the clan hoorai.XQ in solo tournaments such as the Afreeca Warcraft League - irrespective of whether he wants it or not."
