The Extreme Masters Season II Finals Playoff went on at 13:15 CET today. The 4 players qualified for the playoffs were Lyn from SK-Gaming, Lucifer and Grubby from Meet Your Makers and ToD with mousesports.
First round, two matches were played at the same time, Lyn against Lucifer, won by Lyn 2:0 on Secret Valley and Twisted Meadows; while Grubby swept his old friend ToD from the upper bracket with a 2:0 score on Turtle Rock and Twisted Meadows.
Now two players were left in the upper bracket while the two others find themselves in the lower one. Grubby had to face one of SK’s strongest players, Lyn, in an Orc mirror match. The Korean player was able to get out of this with another perfect score of 2:0, but this time on Gnoll Wood and Echo Isles. But the fourth and last match of the day wasn’t that easy for ToD or Lucifer. Lucifer managed to win the first match on Echo Isles. That was a little something that gave him an advantage but ToD was able to win the two other matches on Twisted Meadows and Secret Valley to finally turn the tables with a 2:1.
With Grubby losing to Lyn and ToD winning over Lucifer, the two former players and friends of 4Kings will take on each other tomorrow at 10:15 CET and the winner of this match will have to face Lyn in the Grand Final at 11:45 CET. Stay tuned to the results!
