Compulsory military service has caused the new fnatic team to lose their player Ohjie after the current WC3L season is done.

The announcement from Fnatic to sign up with the Clan Go team brings besides the good news its sister bad news. Despite the fact that rumours were in the air for a while, it was confirmed today that anchor and soul of the team, Dong "Ohjie" Ryong Lim, left the team in order to fulfill his Korean military service.

The 20-year-old Ryong Lim commenced his career in April 2005 for the Project K2 team in the WC3L IIX Qualifier. In September 2005, K2.wc3 became QPool.wc3. In March 2006, after a high ranked achievement at the WCG Korean Qualifiers, Ohjie joined team 3wD.
In May 2006 Ohjie joined a rather unknown team called ImpuLsive.inc. With this team, the Korean participated in the WC3L Season X Qualification, however the team failed to qualify after losing in round 1 versus KOW3.

After the flopped attempt to qualify, Ohjie joins Team Fighting, perhaps more known as LanFan. In August 2006, Team Fighting changed its name to Clan Go and Ryong Lim was back at the old nest again. The team played for clan NoA some time but in October 2007 the contracts expired and many differences made the team go back to Clan Go once again. Until today, Ohjie was playing with this team but today the lofty career of Ohjie reached its final destination.

Ryong Lim got highly praised on is performances in the Online leagues like WC3L. For the WC3L X Player Awards Ohjie was nominated for Rookie of the Season, however the title went to WE.IGE.TeD. The season after,WC3L Season XI, Ryong Lim received another nomination, this time for Most Improved Player. Again he lost due votes, this season to the Korean orc Park "Lyn" June.

In a reaction to GosuGamers.net Fnatic's team manager Elroy "Noname" Pinto confirmed the long term rumour and devotes Ohjie's choice to join the army to the lack of finances from his former team Clan Go.

“ Well it's a huge loss for the community, he was one of the best Elf's to have come from Korea but just under-rated and not written much about. From what I know, he decided to go to the army after Go didn't manage to get a sponsor for a long time. He tried joining teams which could have supported his skill but none worked out. I believe this was the final straw and he agreed to play for Go till the season is over, because Shy and FoCuS are usable only from playday 9. Much respect to him and I believe we will see him in the future sometime. Good luck to him in the army.”
After declining the option on Ryong Lim, the fnatic team exists of a 6 man roster. Whether fnatic will bring in any new players to back up the current lineup is still unknown.
