Beijing Esports Team left the league due to restructuring plans, which opened up an extra spot in NGL-TWO. Today fnatic played against Volt-Gaming over the last spot, and thanks to Korean Orc player FoCuS fnatic could see a happy ending from their long road to qualification.

fnatic had earlier lost to diamondZ in the qualifier, which technically eliminated them from the qualifier. But thanks to the BeT dropout they were set to play against Volt-Gaming, former Copenhagen Progamers. And it turned out to be a one-sided story, as FoCuS blademastered his way to victory in all four games.

FoCuS started out playing the Undead player Serups. It looked good in the start for the Dane, as he took down a burrow and was able to force FoCuS to cancel his beastiary. But he was then chased off by FoCuS's force. With a good game sense and map control, FoCuS catches Serups's army a couple of times, and takes out fiend after fiend, statue after statue. After a handful of invitations to do the big battle, the two finally clash. FoCuS's berserkers, raiders, grunts lead by his Tauren and Blademaster quite easily disposes the rather meek crypt fiend/statues/Death Knight/Lich mix.

Second game gets underway, on Twisted Meadows and ThomasG stands for the opposition for the fnatic superstar. FoCuS once again goes for Blademaster, accompanied by a set of grunts and raiders. With good creep jacks and map control, FoCuS gets the upper hand on ThomasG. The Danish Night Elf tries to creep jack FoCuS at '12 o'clock, but FoCuS fends off nicely and cripples ThomasG's army as both the Tinker and Demon Hunter goes down. Opting for a quick rejuvenation, ThomasG continues to pump out druids of the talon and moments later goes for the attack. This does not hurt too much on FoCuS, who runs over all of ThomasG's talons and disposes the Night Elf heroes.

Enter the Volt-Gaming star, Ciara. Both players going for a very similar build, and does not much action until both are up at 50 pop. Both players gets an army of Blademaster/Shadow Hunter/Raider/Spirit Walker/Grunt force, and walks around the terrain like a cat around its prey. Both then goes for each other's bases at the 12 minute mark, and while Ciara destroys FoCuS's town hall, FoCuS goes for the Altar of Storms. After FoCuS's town hall is destroyed, Ciara tps back. Too much of units for Ciara to handle, and especially in that position. Ciara types out, and FoCuS has now 3-0 against Volt-Gaming.

Last chance for Volt-Gaming, but it seems FoCuS has put in a higher gear than the Danes can cope with. Undead player Rosenkill was up next, on Turtle Rock. In the start of the game, FoCuS manages to take down Rosenkill's Death Knight after a good creep jack, which gives FoCuS an advantage in creep kills, and gains some levels ahead of Rosenkill. FoCuS also gets a second hero, the Shadow Hunter to accompany his Blademaster. Both players lay off each other for a while, FoCuS expanding and Rosenkill teching to a Frost Wyrm. But that does little good against FoCuS's massive 74-pop-army filled with troll berserkers, grunts, raiders and his two heroes. The Undead army quickly folds in a clash, which gives fnatic the victory and therefore the last spot in the upcoming NGL-TWO season.
