When the eighth playday marks its beginning at 18:00 tonight, the opposing teams are struggling to reach the playdowns and avoid direct elimination.

NoWAYouT comes out of a tough seventh playday and are still at an eleventh position in the WC3L. SK-Gaming swept clean with a 5-0 score over the Ukraines, forcing Ghost, Sting and the other players to continue tread water in the bottom of the pit.

wNv-Gaming is ranked ninth and has only gathered eleven points throughout the season. In the current position they are destined to fight for survival in the playdowns. But should they continue to loss valuable points, they might be surpassed by Raptor-Gaming. Maybe NoWAYouT can excel the Chinese team too if xiaOt and his crew cease to grab any points in tonight's collision.

- They have strong "non-standard" young players, who can surprise even a very experienced opponent, says NoWAYouT team captain fastClick and crowns mentions xiaOt as one of the Chinese WarCraft 3 gods.
- Let's hope for some miracle in face of good ping, and less time spent for this war, concludes fastClick in his pre-match statement.

Last time the two contestants went at it was in May earlier this year, in NGL. Back then, xiaOt scored three important points on NoWAYouT, at that time still playing under the ieS Virtual Gaming flag. The match ended in a 4-3 win for wNv-Gaming. Now, the post Soviet nations joint team has a more diverse lineup, and seem capable of rattling the Chinese starlets' cages.
