Only three matches remain in the invitational tournament at World Wide Invitational, as we are closing in on the finals of both the winners and losers bracket.

After the elimination of SaSe and XlorD, two more players were forced to say goodbye to WWI this time. FoV and ToD failed to defeat their opponents in the Loser Bracket's second round, both in close 2-1 series.

The loser bracket's round three stands between Lyn and Sky, where the winner will play the loser between Grubby and Moon. Grubby and Moon will soon appear on the stream, so make sure to tune in.

Grand Final report

The first game, being played on Secret Valley, was a long match. It turned into a tight game, where Moon did a quick tech, and went Beastmaster/Firelord, while Lyn after a while went Blademaster/Shadow Hunter/Tiner.

After many brawls back and forth, Lyn was forced to take the battle near Moon's base, but did a set of nice moves, such as killing Moon's Beastmaster with his low-hped Blademaster. Moon's massive amount of talons was not enough in the final battle, as Lyn could take out hero after hero, and finally was able to swipe out Moon's base with his raiders.

Second game was played on Turtle Rock, Moon going Demon Hunter, Lyn not so surprisingly started with a Blademaster.

Lyn set some early push on Moon, but Moon could evade the pushes and instead went up to tier 2 with a Beastmaster added to his Demon Hunter. Lyn went for Tauren Chieftain, added to his Demon Hunter, Grunts and Raiders.

Should Lyn win this game, Lyn will win the best-of-three series, evening it out to 1-1 in match series. This forces the players to play a final deciding best-of-three.

Mass talons again for Moon, and Lyn having basically the same army as in the first game as well.

Moon runs into Lyn's base in the middle of the map, and is forced to TP out, nearly losing his Demon Hunter.

Moon losing most of his units in a battle that seems to be the final one. Beastmaster also down for Moon, this seems to be Lyn's game right here.

Lyn has the upper hand, and goes for Moon's expansion in the bottom right. He manages to take it down, and Moon has little to put up with here.

A fight in the base of Lyn, Moon dies all of his heroes, and only a few talons left. He revives his Demon Hunter in the tavern. Moon is forced to fall back, and Lyn tries to finish this off. "Slim to none chance" for Moon to turn this around, says Phreak, shoutcaster of this final.

GG from Moon, Lyn has turned this around, and the grand final will be decided in the final best-of-three.

The next map will be Echo Isles.

Moon goes Warden, and will try to surprise Lyn with this build. Ancient of War-creep by Moon, Lyn doing the regular Blademaster start.

Shadow Hunter for Lyn, a few raiders and grunts. Moon has some mercenaries, and a level 3 warden. Moon also picks to play the Naga Sea Witch.

Lyn GGs, Moon is in the lead 1-0.

Second game is Secret Valley. If Moon wins, the grand final is over.

Demon Hunter this time for Moon.
