As the WC3L Qualification proceeds, more and more teams are being knocked down to the loser brackets. Only the truly strong teams have been able to maintain in the winner brackets, but a clash between them is now becoming inevitable.




Taking a look at the upper brackets of the WarCraft III Champions League Qualification for the upcoming 14th season, it takes no expert to point out that there are some very classy games coming up in the next round. The American underdogs in Team Delta will be put to the test by going up against the mighty mTw tomorrow. Can the innovative style of Axslav and his teammates surprise mTw's Korean quadro of Check, Rainbow, WinNerS and WhO? Only time will tell, but mTw should certainly be regarded as favourites in this clash.

The winner bracket's 3rd round will then proceed on Sunday when an impressive Raptor, who took out the newly formed American team H2O last playday, are slighty unfavoured against PGS. The latter team recently underwent alot of roster changes, but still boast an impressive lineup with former 4Kings players LiiLD.C and DeMusliM along with Finnish Night Elf ace Satiini. Another close encounter will be played on the same day between Gravitas and hoorai, both being likely contenders for a place in the main league. In last season's qualification, the newly formed Gravitas did not manage to make it all the way after being defeated by mTw in the lower brackets. This could just be their turn to redeem themselves, but hoorai, having participated in last season, will be no easy task.

The round comes to an end on Monday with a very uncertain battle between the serious faces of srs and the wise wNv players. Seeing as srs ended up in last place last season and wNv are looking to re-enter the prestigeous league, there is certainly alot at stake here.
