In yet another classic showdown, Meet Your Makers defeats SK-Gaming by a score of 4-3.

MYM(4-3; 24:19), the defending NGL-ONE champions, are currently ranked 5th behind SK-Gaming(4-3; 22:17) and in danger of missing the off-line playoffs. The contest was gritty and hard fought. SK seized the early advantage after ReiGn defeated Susiria on Turtle Rock. However, Moon tilted the odds in MYM's favor by defeating both ReiGn and Lyn. The matches became a marathon of attrition as Moon, ReMinD, and Lucifer were each eliminated. The final match set SoJu against Grubby on Lost Temple.
SoJu v. Grubby
SoJu spawns north and Grubby south. Grubby employs the standard Blademaster/grunt combo while SoJu opts for a Demon Hunter (DH), huntresses, and an unorthodox building formation (SoJu places 4 moon wells, his shop, and his Ancient of War around his green creep camp). Both players creep and tech until tier two. SoJu opts for "the lore strat" while Grubby masses raiders. SoJu's forward "mini-base" allows him to creep the fountain, but Grubby manages to snatch a few of the fountain gnolls. Both players continue to creep until SoJu gets master bears. Grubby is creeping the north goblin shop when SoJu begins assaulting his main. After killing the final creep, Grubby picks up a tome of experience. Instead of town portal, Grubby opts to "base race" SoJu's main with his raiders; SoJu town portals home. However, SoJu's forward building formation proves vulnerable: Grubby destroys 4 moonwells and sends SoJu sprialing into food deficit.
The next encounter occurs outside the southwest corner of the central courtyard. Grubby's raider nets allow him surround and kill SoJu's Keeper of the Grove. The two players then trade forces. SoJu's bear/dryad combo decimates Grubby's raider army. However, Grubby eliminates nearly all the dryads before beginning another "base race" with a small detachment of raiders. Grubby destroys SoJu's altar and Tree of Eternity before using a town portal to escape. SoJu's 'bare' army (get it? bare = bear) returns to assault Grubby's base but, is thwarted after Grubby kills SoJu's DH. Grubby's victory secures MYM an overall victory with a final score 4-3.
The next opponent in this season for SK-Gaming will be the Polish-based BenQ DELTAeSPORTS.COM, while MYM will face Wicked eSports.
