DreamHack is drawing closer, and as usual GosuGamers are the head administrators of StarCraft, WarCraft III and DotA. This time, we will announce the map pool early on.

Are you aiming for taking the gold medal in the official DreamHack WarCraft III tournament? You better start preparing, but wait now - isn't it a crucial thing to know the map pool and how the map rotation works well before the event even occurs?
Well, it's not a big change from earlier tournaments, and the pool and system is exactly the same as what will be used in the GosuCup which was announced yesterday, except for that it's Bo3.
DreamHack map pool and structure
The player the lowest in the bracket tree will first remove one map out of the map pool, and then the highest player in the bracket tree removes one map. Finally the upper player in the tree decides which map to begin with, while the loser picks next.
Twisted Meadows
Echo Isles
Terenas Stand
Turtle Rock
Secret Valley
Noteworthy, however, is that a there will be Bo3 in the Winner bracket, while it will be Bo1 in the Looser bracket. Looser bracket will have a 1-2-1 removal, where the upper placed player will remove first.
More information about rules and such will be given at a later date, although you can expect the same rules as the last event. The WarCraft tournament is as usual sponsored by the World GameMaster Tournament.
