Grubby impressively won Group H by winning all his games but one. Now he's been matched against the World Elite player Sky, a player which the Dutchman has had difficulties with in the past.
Both Xiaofeng "Sky" Li and Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen have previously won the World Cyber Games, the former twice. Now they are facing each other at the earliest stage of the playoffs. One of them has got to go, but it is extremely hard to predict which one will it be. They were both put in to difficult group and have really shown what their made of by advancing up.

Grubby displayed some impressive control when he fought his teammate DeMusliM in Group H. He really showed how well he masters the Orc vs Human matchup. He also won against Giacomo and xiaOt, who placed second in this group, but surpringly lost to the Australian GlaDe. Now it's time for him to face another Human player, but this will not be anywhere near as easy as his game against DeMusliM.
The Chinese Human master Sky has revolutionised Human gameplay during the last couple of years. He defined the "Sky strategy" against Orc, a strategy based on extremely aggresive play including alot of summoned units and offensive towering. He survived the incredibly tough Group D, beating the likes of Lyn and Zeus while only losing to ESWC champion SoJu. The two time champion will have to playing at his full potential today as well if he wishes to proceed in this tournament.
The epic games between the two powerhouse players kicks off at 20:00 CET according to the WCG schedule.
