The first round of the WC3L Season XIII Qualifications continues today with three matches. eGp will most likely act as cannonfodder as they go up against the recently strengthened mTw while things might get a little bit closer between hoorai and Raptor. Later this evening, the all German team starComa will try to stir things up against the favoured Team Delta.
Tonight will be a big night for the German WarCraft III scene in the WC3L XIII qualifiers. Five out of the six competing teams are based in Germany, only Team Delta differs. However, the two teams with purely German squads, Raptor and starComa, are to be considered as underdogs in tonight's encounters.

mTw considered huge favourites
After a good first half of last WC3L season, mTw was in a good position to make it to the offline playoffs. But after a couple of disappointing results the team fell to 8th place and lost against to Defining Stars in the playdowns. But with their new recruits the team looks extremely tough and should have no problem at all re-qualifying for next season. As they face eGamespoint tonight, they are considered as huge favorites. The likes of Satiini and Rainbow eats players like TargA, Becks and Casper for breakfast on a regular basis.
Raptor slight underdogs against hoorai
Though Raptor Gaming boast a solid German lineup, they're in for quite a struggle if they wish to overcome hoorai's strong European team. With the Finnish Undead player elfittaja in excellent shape, hoorai should be able to emerge victorious. However, if Raptor's key players HLA and TryDying manage to be on top of their games, elfi and his teammates may be in for a nasty surprise.
Impact and Fisch - the keys to sCa victory
The former SK Germany players Impact and Fisch play a very important role for their team starComa as they clash with the mighty Team Delta tonight. If the two of them manage to perform well, this should be a very close match. On the other hand, Delta posseses an impressive lineup consisting mostly of American players. With the addition of LongWalk along with players like strifecro and HolyHuman, it will be very hard to stop Delta from advancing to the next stage.
The qualification differs a bit from last season, where the teams who lost their initial match were immediately eliminated. This season, all teams will receive a second chance in the loser brackets. The action starts at 18:00 CET and Waaagh!TV and GGTV coverage will be provided for as many games as possible.
