When 4Kings, somewhat surprisingly, got eliminated from the playoffs it was clear that MYM and mouz were the teams that would battle it out for the NGL title. The Chinese Orc-player Fly, who had more or less carried his team throughout the playoffs was bound to deliver as they faced one of the best teams in the world - MeetYourMakers.
JaeWook Noh, also known as Lucifer.
MYM's matches
4:1 vs SK Gaming
4:2 vs Mousesports
4:0 vs MousesportsIt all started off at Turtle Rock where a nice Undead mirror match took place between HasuObs and Lucifer. A rather long and close game seemed to get an end when HasuObs got creepjacked by Lucifer, but had picked up the vampiric aura only seconds prior to the creepjack. With the aura Lucifer's gargoyles were totally slaughtered and HasuObs started to play less aggressive, something that later was proven to be a mistake. Lucifer kept the intensity up and managed to turn the game around by switching to destroyers/fiends combo while attacking a lot.
Unlike the other matches mouz played, they didn't save Fly100% as their last player. Instead they put him in as second, probably knowing that Lucifer had to be stopped right away. The great Chinese, that had carried the whole team on his back through the tournament with his feared Blademaster came to the playgrounds of Echo Isle with a lot of confidence and started off well. However, losing both of his heroes in a fight at his natural expansion proved to be too big of a disadvantage to turn around and the saga of 'Flysports' ended abruptly. Further on, Lucifer faced SaSe on Terenas Stand and Happy in an Undead mirror match on Twisted Meadows, two matches that he won - making MYM the champions of NGL-One's third season.
MYM went through the playoffs undefeated and a sign of their strength is that Susiria was saved for the last game in all the matches, but never had to play. GosuGamers congratulate MYM for their astonishing achievement!
