The Korean qualifier is getting closer with two players ready, and six yet to be qualified.
Soju and WhO knocked out everyone else and will therefor play with the "big boys" in the Korean finals, taking place later this August. Expect top notch action with Korea's best!
SoJu and ReMind were the favorites here but ReMind lost to WhO in the first round. WhO also won against FoCuS, WinNerS. Soju who recently won the ESWC competition played JiNi, Shy, and Michael.
The Korean WCG qualifier is divided into two groups, one with sixteen amateurs players competing for two spots in the finals. The other group is a collection of sixteen pro gamers, and will add six players to the finals for a total of eight players. Among the "amateurs" are players such as FoCuS, ReMind, SoJu and a few other well-knowns.
The "amateurs" consists of both new and well known players from some of the best clans. Why someone like Soju who has been a part of World Elite for a long time and been among the top players has to play among "amateurs" seems a little unfair.
