The IEST 2006 has announced the dates - December 9th to 13th. This means it will clash with WSVG Grand Finals. Affected by this are Grubby and SaSe, who have already made their choices.



Zerter reports at ESReality that the International Electronic Sports Tournament 2006 (IEST) will take place December 9th to 13th. This date clashes with the World Series of Video Games Grand Finals which means that Grubby and SaSe that are qualified for both will have to choose.

Grubby has made his choice and will go to New York to play WSVG. Taking his place in the IEST will be settled in a popularity contest at Replays.Net where the candidates are Insomnia, Zeus and RotterdaM. Zerter further writes that SaSe has chosen China, which was not too surprising as the Swedish Sentinel has lots of times mentioned how much he loves China.

Zerter assumes that Storm will replace SaSe in WSVG as he ended in third place in the WSVG DreamHack qualifier. Below are the player list for both events.
