The Lithuanian player WinneR (picture) won his country's World Cyber Games 2005 and was pretty succesful in the final event, losing in the second round of the playoffs against the champion Sky. During that tournament he was a member of mTw, but his prime days was in Team64.AMD playing a big part in why they took home the WC3L Season 6 finals and ending second in the Season 7 playoffs. Though when the team was put aside, WinneR joined mTw after ending third in the first WEG tournament. Then after a while he teamed up with fnatic. After four months in the team he left the team and stopped playing. It is said that he stopped playing due to the bad internet connections in Lithuania. Whether the connection better or not, WinneR seems to be back.

Gediminas Rimkus, as his real name is, has joined the ieS Virtual Gaming team. The team is housing Lithuania's WCG 2006 player Sujin, along with other players from east Europe. The Extreme Masters players w4X and Fav are also some of the new players that was added to the team just before the deadline for the WC3L application period. Does the team shine enough with their new players so they will be included in the WC3L Season XI qualifier? Will we see the Undead expert WinneR in action again?
The teams chosen by the WC3L should be made public soon. It will be interesting to see which of all the upcoming teams that will be chosen.
