The admins over at MeetYourMakers.com translated an interview of the dutch top-notch player 4K^Grubby made by FighterForum.com into English. FighterForum is the biggest portal for e-sports in Korea and grabbed Grubby right after his victory in the opening game of MBC Warcraft World War (W3). Grubby managed to beat the Undead player MYM]Lucifer with 3-1. More details can be found » here. The interview is quite short and covers several questions concerning his trip to Korea. Q: A victory of 3:1.
A: I'm very happy to win the game. Lucifer has prepared new strategy for the match, so it was really tough for me. When Beast Master fell down to the groud in the last game, I felt the victory was drawing near. If you have the kind of thought that " Orc has some advantages over Undead", you cannot play well in the game. So I was just reminding myself that " I am playing with the world's first UD Lucifer".
Q: Not performed well in Korea before.
A: Not really. The number of winning matches was far more than that of the lost in games of OnGameNet and MBC. Anyway, Korean players are really great. In the BWI 2006, Sweet was the top player in the world, I was over confident because of the first win on the first day.
Q: Any further goals after the champion?
A: It is determined by who I will meet next. My goal is not to lose to anyone.
Q: Will you stay in Korea till the next round?
A: Because the Battle.Net Warcraft III Season 4 will be open, I have to go back to Europe.
