Players WE.IGE.Sky
wNv.CheckSky is currently leading our database as player #1 with a total of 1477 points, Grubby and Lucifer take the second and third spot. His opponent Check is currently ranked at #47 but shows that he is able to compete with the top-notch Human player. Once again three games were needed to determine a winner, the third game lasts 40minutes and includes several epic battles. We have wNv.Check starting at the top right position, using Dark Ranger as first hero and cleaning the creep spots near his base with some Archers. Sky selects Arch Mage as first hero, starts tier2 tech quite fast and adds Naga as second hero after five minutes and forces Check to TP after a little skirmish. Another battles takes place only a few moments later, Check added Naga to his army as well and almost manages to take down AM. Both players refresh their army and after a nice combination of frost arrows and chain lightning Sky's Naga dies and it seems that he can keep the pressure up with AM and Riflemen but has to back away once Druids of the claw arrive and turn the attack over. Sky types "GG" only a few moments later, AM died meanwhile and even more druids of the claw show up. Check takes the lead, 1-0.
Check starts with Demon Hunter and is able to burn the mana of Arch Mage several times as Sky just started to kill some creeps outside his base. Both players finish their tier2 tech very fast again and both pick Naga up as second hero. Check has to cancel his Ancients of Lore due to AM/Naga attacks, Sky on the other hand keeps on producing Riflemen and Sorcs/Priests. Sky heads towards Check's base, builds a tower and gives Check serious problems due to the permanent pressure of the Human player. Both players show great micro in a long battle lasting several minutes but eventually Check has no chance to defend against the neverending flow of Sky's units. 1-1
Check picks up Demon Hunter again, adds a Forest troll and chases Sky who selects Arch Mage again and begins an expo. Check starts the upgrade of tier2 already and is aware of the expo. He involves Sky in a battle with his Archers, adds Panda and takes down many Peasants at the just finished expo of Sky. A back and forth begins, Check attacks the base of Sky and starts an expo but Sky scouts it and attacks it with five Footmen. The TP seems to be just in time but only a few seconds after all Footmen die to Breath of fire Sky drops AM near the Tree of Life, fires two shots and takes down the NE building. Ahead of resources he adds several towers and starts producing Dragonhawks and Siege engines. The game continues with many fights, Sky builds many turrets and Check lacks of resources and options to do a successfull attack against a defensively playing Sky. In an epic battle Sky kills Panda lvl6 and secures his victory. 2-1.

This is our second in-depth report from RaceWarsII event. Sky, currently #1 in our database, faces Check in an exciting bo3 series. These games provide everything you enjoy on WarCraft: excellent micro, great fights and amusing moves. Enjoy!
