After ending up at 12th, and last, spot in the 10th season of WC3L it was clear that verGe got relegated. As many other teams, they had to try their luck in the qualifier. Seeded as third, they avoided many of the top teams in their first couple of games. However, they suffered a 0-3-loss in the third round of the winner bracket against World Elite Europe and got moved down to loser bracket.

In their first match in the loser bracket they managed to take down excello with 3-0. Their second game in loser bracket was played today - against Serious Gaming. Looking at the GosuBet between the two of them verGe had 60% of the bets and were, yet with a small margin, the favourites according to our readers.
Unfortunately for verGe, their dream of another WC3L season ended tonight. Serious Gaming showed that they are a force to be reckoned with taking verGe down with 3-0.

verGe currently has a couple of great players within their roster such as LongWalk, Phreak and GlaiVe. Without an eleventh season of WC3L for these players they are currently playing in NGL-Two. Is that enough motivation for them to stay in verGe, or will they start to look around for a new team? When GosuGamers interviewed Glaive during the Battle.net Season 4 finals in Stockholm a while back, he chose not to comment when asked if he will leave verGe if they fail to requalify to WC3L.
