The CEG tournament in Xi'an barely ended before another tournament in China started. Replays.net is hosting a tournament called "All Star Series" where they have invited 16 players. The players are divided into four groups where the top two from each group advances to a single elimination playoff.
All Star Series started yesterday and will last until 16th January. Six games will be played every day and all of them will be broadcasted; three on GGTV and three on GamesTV, which can be watched via PPLive. Cash prizes will be given to the three best players; $750 for 1st, $375 for 2nd and $125 for 3rd place.
Yesterday's matches did not include any surprising results as the favourites won their games:

Today one of the two players from Europe, ToD, made his entrance in to the tournament. He managed to beat FoCus from NoA with 2-0, which resulted in a 1-2 record for FoCus, prohibiting him from further advancement. ToD has a golden opportunity to secure a spot in the playoffs, needing only one more win. The other two games from Group A today was played by TeD versus LL and FoCuS. The talented UD-player defeated them both, which means that he will advance to the playoffs. DuCui, who lost to SaSe yesterday, lost today's game against Infi meaning he won't be able to advance.
