Moon Fighting!

Two players had been outstanding compared to the rest during this whole event. Today was the day when the best player from Korea should play the best from China - for the title as winner of the prestige filled tournament of IEST.



Both Sky and Moon walked through the tournament undefeated and seemed to be in really great shape. But in a final, with $20,000 at stakes a lot of other factors such as controlling your nerves plays a big part.

Game 1

The one played best during those circumstances was with no doubt Moon who started out with winning the first match which was played on Echo Isles. Moon played flawlessly with his Panda / Pitlord combination and could win the game quite easy.

Game 2

This match was probably the one most one-sided. Sky tried desperately to counter Moon's tech with an early push which totally failed and the Korean Night elf could safely secure a second map win.

Game 3

Maybe the most entertaining of all games played in this series. Sky started out very good and got an early advantage. He used this to make a long lasting push with some towers as backup. When the game seemed to be over Moon did a great combat and the game was brought to life again. Sky continued to desperately play aggressive and if finally payed back when he succeeded to destroy both Moon's Ancients of Lores.

Game 4

Sky had the opportunity of even out the score by winning the game on Turtle Rock. He tried really hard and continued with his early push with great support from his Tinker. The game seemed to be in his favor when he killed one Ancient of Lore and tons of wisps. However Moon succeeded in some way of turning the game around with his walking Tree of Life fighting his way through to the closest expansion mine.

With this result Moon got the title as champion, $20,000 richer and some points closer to Sky at our own database ranking!
