The site and organisation Electronic Sports League has a huge impact on the scene. Hosting some of the biggest online events and leagues such as the European Nations Cup, the WC3L for WarCraft III plus hundreds of other leagues in dozens of games. This is noticed at times, but now when their site has been down for more than 24 hours, you see how big a part they play in the community. They have had a splash site for quite a while mentioning their hardware trouble on their servers, but now they have made a statement.
In it, they mention that it was at first a few database errors, which they fixed but was still a sign that something was cooking. And when switching their main database computer to another, but something went wrong. There were also a broken hardware issue, which their repaired early this morning. The ESL site was then supposed to be back up at 05:00 CET, but they faced another error.
At the ESL site they have announced that the new hardware is ready and that the raid harddrive is building up. Expect the ESL back online tomorrow morning.

At 5 o'clock in the morning we were ready to go online again but then the new hard drive controller produced an error and said goodbye. We had to stop working in order to get some sleep. The current situation is that two of our technicians are on their way from Cologne to Coburg to the computer center, with a new controller and twelve new hard drives. Even if everything runs smoothly now, the page will not be online today. Tomorrow, at the latest, we will be back.
Hopefully they will be online soon, so the leagues may keep on going, and results and replays will be given to the community. Therefor, we ask our members to not scream for results at our GosuBet section.Update
