GosuGamers are happy to announce the Swedish preliminaries for KODE5, an international event with Counter-Strike, Quake 4 and WarCraft III. GosuGamers will host both the online and offline Nordic qualifiers for WarCraft 3 KODE5.



KODE5, the Global Gaming Revolution. 16 countries in a series of regional events to find the best gamers from around the world. So it says at the KODE5 website, and that is just what it is. 16 regional finals will be held, to determine which players are to advance to the Grand Final, which location is still unknown. With a prize pool of $15,000 USD for the WarCraft 3 tournament only, this is no doubt also one of the biggest offline events in WarCraft history.

Some of the regional finals have already been announced, like Germany, China, Taiwan and many more. Now it is time for KODE5 to reveal yet another tournament. GosuGamers are happy to announce that we will be the ones hosting the Swedish KODE5 qualifiers, both online and offline.

The offline Swedish final will be held at Gamers Paradise, Målargatan 2 in Stockholm the 30th of July. Six players will be invited to the offline event, while the remaining two spots will be handled via two online qualifier tournaments. The winners of each qualification will be qualified for the offline regional finals. The participation fee is 125 SEK in order to take part in the regional final.

The online qualifier is for free, and will be held here at GosuGamers. Two online qualifiers will be held, one this Sunday (16th of July) at 15:00 CET and the second on Friday (21st of July) at 19:00 CET. The winner of each qualifier will be directly qualified for the regional finals.

The other six players will be invited, after having sent a » registration e-mail with your contact information (name, e-mail, phone number), nickname and your list of merits.

The winner of the regional final in Stockholm will get paid accomodations and travel to the KODE5 Grand Final, where the prize pool of $15,000 USD is at stake.

Note that you do not have to be from Sweden to take part in this event. "Unlike some events, each KODE5 Regional is considered an international qualifier. If you are from Canada and attend and win a regional event from another country, you have the right to represent that country at the KODE5 Global Finals."
