Many of the best players from France attended including two of the favorites to win: 4K.ToD (pic) and GG18-Wolf. Both of these players have had outstanding performances in the past and each of them can be considered Top 5 in Europe in playing their certain race. GG18-Wolf is fresh off a very impressive 4th place finish at the WEG Qualifier in Stockholm, Sweden and is in great shape. However, the player that would surprise some people was the veteran iT-Deco. After having just returned from retirement he showed everyone that his skill has not decreased by defeating two of the star players from GoodGame: GG15-Blatty and GG14-ChobO.
Quarter-Finals:
4K.ToD > GG18-Wolf 2 - 0
MJ^Wormouze > Nediar 2 - 0
GG15-Blatty < iT-Deco 1 - 2
JaS-User < GG14-ChobO 0 - 2
The most watched match of the Quarter-Finals was 4K.ToD who was easily able to take down GG18-Wolf. He was seen as a favorite to win and possibly the only player capable of beating 4K.ToD.
Semi-Finals:
4K.ToD > MJ^Wormouze 2 - 0
iT-Deco > GG14-ChobO 2 - 1
The match of the Semi-Finals was iT-Deco who managed to defeat another veteran of the WarCraft III community, GG14-ChobO.
Grand Final:
iT-Deco < 4K.ToD 0 - 2
After some key victories from iT-Deco there would only be one more player in this path by the name of 4K.ToD. Unforuntately, luck would run out for iT-Deco where he lost in the Grand Final. 4K.ToD managed to go through the whole tournament without losing a single game.
