Another team with a shift of focus with Starcraft 2 BETA out.

The current winners of the Warcraft International Premiership, MYM.WC3 has announced they retire from the WCIP due to a change of focus from warcraft 3 to Starcraft 2. Recently, they have forfeited lots of games due to their players focusing on the BETA leading them to accumulate a total of 9 PP, therefore getting disqualified. This should come as no surprise as two of their three man line up, DeMusliM and LucifroN, are currently two of the top players in the Starcraft II BETA and are playing it non stop.

Here's MYM's chief of operations, Dennis Nirtl, statement:

"Today is a sad day for the current titleholder of the WCIP. MeetYourMakers has to leave the actual season due to some major changes regarding our Warcraft 3 team. We are sorry for that and MYM wants to thank the whole admin crew and especially Danny for all what they have done so far. We wish you the best for the future - may your dream live forever. Last but not least shootouts for all the fans that supported us in the past - As one door closes, another one opens. MYM FIGHTING!"

They also announce that the team will be undergoing some significant changes for the better of the team. This, coupled with recent rumors of the remaining player and elf superstar, ReMinD leaving the team can only generate some hype as to what will happen to one of the greatest Warcraft's team of all time.
