The mystery surrounding the outcome of XP League in its 5th edition is beginning to unfold as the Ro24 matches were all played and the groups of the Ro16 drawn.
Twelve qualified players from the Ro24 caught up with the 4 autoberthed players who are none other than the epic Top4 of last season: 'ReMinD', 'Lyn', 'Shy' and 'Kei', respectively.
The grid shows not only world-renowned names such as 'SocceR', 'FoCuS' and 'Check' but also new faces that brought about upsets in the previous round.
To begin with, Night Elf player 'sakura' surprisingly discarded 'RohJinWook' in the LB after an impressive Warden abuse. Later, 'Templar' a human player from Phoenix clan succeeded in swiping the qualification ticket from 'YangE' who was clearly set as favorite to advance. Lastly, 'ReprisaL' got taken aback by an excellent Elf, 'Gryphon3', who finished first of his group, beyond all expectations.
While last season's runner-up 'Lyn' has been paired with his Night Elf team mate 'Check', the reigning champion 'ReMinD' shares group with WeMadeFOX star 'SocceR', which bodes well for the competition seeing how much entertaining is both players' mirror.
The upcoming matches have been scheduled to start on the 3rd of November, notably 'ReMinD' vs 'Gryphon3' as an opening match of the Ro16.
At the end of this round, the first two players from each group will qualify for the Ro8.
