The Swedish national team took on a star studded Netherlands in the second round of the European Nations Cup. Keys to victory proved to be the 2on2 match as Fredrik "KnOfF" Knopf and Daniel "LiiLD.C" Claesson teamed up to defeat Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen and Kevin "RotterdaM" van der Kooi 2-0 straight.
The single games ended 2-2, as Grubby could defeat both the young gun Marcus "Thorzain" Eklöf and LiiLD.C. The other leg of the Dutch team, RotterdaM, had a tougher time as he suffered losses to both the Swedes.
This puts Sweden up front in Group A with two wins in a row and seven points in total. Netherlands has five points after one win and one loss.
France takes on Spain on later tonight, while Finland plays Romania on Sunday.
Group B saw their second round come to a close yesterday as Russia triumphed over Denmark. Germany, who surprisingly lost to Denmark in the first round, was able to avenge themselves with a 3-2 win over Poland. Croatia had a bad day on the battlefield as Ukraine won by a clear 4-1 decision.
