IEF announces their event for this year as well as the schedule for the Korean and Chinese qualifiers. Although no information on the list of invited players.
One month ago, we released some news with the first list of players that were supposedly invited for this year's IEF, but the information was not official. It was also said that some of the players were never contacted about their invite.
The IEF Organization (according to fomos.kr) has officially announced IEF2009. Nam Kyoungpil, the president of IEF Organization, visited Beijing and met with Lu Hao, the president of IEF Chinese Organization, in order to decide this. The event will indeed take place in Suwon, South-Korea starting October 31st till November 1st.
The Korean qualifiers that was said to be from the 1st of July till the 30th of August will actually be on the 28th till the 29th of August, along with the MSL Finals.
Furthermore, IEF also announced the Chinese qualifiers which will be held in Dalian, China from June 20th to June 22nd at 2009 China International Software & Information Service Fair.
There was no information regarding the players so it is most likely that the list of invites will be different from what was previously "announced".
