I'm standing here with Ownage|RandomNE, or should I say play`IT|RandomNE, now after the switch. Tell me about why Ownage decided to switch to play`IT?
- First of all we needed to add some solo players to our roster, then playIT have more budget and can send players to events and sponsors with hardware etc. and that's a good motivation for us.

With this switch you added a couple of new players as you mentioned - Abver, Zerter and eNvious. Will they be a part of your first-man lineup still?
- Yes they will, but we have many good players in the team now, so they have to be active and fight for their place in the lineup, but the intention is to have them as the first lineup.

DeliCato is a really respected player, but does not play that actively any more. Will he still play the 2on2 clanwar matches in WC3L together with SjoW?
- Deli will play active 2on2 again with SjoW, and they will have time to practise, so there will be no worries =)

Ownage is, for some who may not know, an internet café in Sweden. And Play`IT is the same, is it not? Will you break all your contacts with Ownage, or will they still be in the picture somehow?
- I hope that we will we will have the name Ownage in our nicks somehow, so that we can still play at Ownage Cafe, they have meant alot for us, and it's a good thing to have lan spons there, because half of the team lives near the cafe.

Team Play`IT/Ownage

Sebastian "RandomNE" Beijer
Paul "River" Conner
Christopher "rukie" Pawlowski
Rudolf "Tharkas" Pramer
Jeffrey "SjoW" Brusi
Rasmus "DeliCato" Wersäll
Oskar "anTy" Stoltz
Oskar "Zubie" Rudberg
Alexei "Abver" Drunin
Jos "Zerter" Buyvoets
Jere "eNvious" HuumoDon't you think that there will be some kind of gap between the players who arrived to Play´IT from the old team Ownage, consisting of only Swedes. How will you act as a leader to prevent this?
- No, because there are just 2 players that are added, envious and abver, rest of the team is the old team, so I dont think it will be any problems at all

Kindly enough from the WC3L administration, you were allowed to make this switch without having to leave the WC3L. How do you look upon the next season of WC3L?
- I think we have good chances to make it far, even to the playoffs, if the players are in shape and we make a good lineup at every clan war, we can beat almost every other clan.

Will you be acting as a manager only, or will you play some in the clanwars, since I know you've been quite a good player before?
- Hehe, I wont be playing at all, my main thing is to work with the lineup, learn about our opponents, and do the best matchup as possible for my players in the clan wars, so managing is the thing im going to do.

What other teams in WC3L do you fear to face?
- I dont fear any team at all, but the hardest team to beat is of course 4K, that will be a really diffiicult task, we will do our best and see if that is enough :)

You were talking about when we spoke at DreamHack that you did some really great lineup trick against a couple of teams. Can you tell me, how do you think when putting up a lineup in clanwars?
- U have to think at many things, such as trying to guess what the opponents manager is thinking about our team and lineup, and then I try to get the best race matchup as possible, knowing what my players are best at and then it's up to the players, but ill do my best to help my players have their best chances winning their games

Let's say you are facing 4Kings in a clanwar, and they put up 4K.FuRy on the map Twisted Meadows. Which player from your team would be the best, and why?
- Probably SjoW because his best matchup is vs UD, he knows how to beat them, but on the other hand fury is also good vs nightelfs, so I might put abver there, since he is a good undead player, those two players would be my first thought vs fury

National Team SwedenOkay, let's move away from Ownage/Play`IT for a while, and continue to the National Swedish team, where you quite recently were appointed team manager for ClanBase. Congratulations to that! How come you were chosen as the new manager?
- Me and Sunday are friends since like one year, and he had problems beeing online this summer, so he asked me to take care of the team instead of him, I was very happy about it, and hope to do well with the team in the nationscup in the future.

RandomNE at DreamHack Summer 2005 with Mazor
The lineup of Sweden, and other National teams for that matter, is different depending on what cup it is. Don't you find that a bit strange?
- It might be because of offline finals and prize money, but I hope in the future all cups will be played with equal values about all cups.

Do you believe that Sweden could wins the Cup both in ClanBase and ENC? Should we perhaps call this "The Double" or a "Grand Slam"?
- Yeah, I think we have a good chance in winning both, because it is the same team for sweden in both ENC and NC, so it will be equal chances

The ESWC is knocking on the door, and for Play`IT you have only one player attending - Zerter. How do you think he will do
- He is playing alot atm and think he will do fine

They are at great shape right now, both very good players, and well experienced, but they will have it hard to get top places even though they are very good players.

You were at DreamHack working as an ESWC administrator, watching FuRy and SaSe take home the ESWC spots for Sweden. How do you rate their
chance of winning?
- They are at great shape right now, both very good players, and well experienced, but they will have it hard to get top places even though they are very good players.

Which player do you think will ESWC this year? Will FoV stay on his throne another year?
- I think Grubby will win if nothing surprising will happen

He has not been given any seed, due to losing to Zerter in the Netherlands qualifier. How important is a good seed?
- it's very important for decent players, but if u want to win, u got to win over every player, so seed is just a small thing in a tournament according to me

What other clans have you been in before Ownage?
- Ownage is my first and only clan ive been in

Now, on to some balance talk. Do you think that any units/race in the current patch is overpowered?
- I think it's only the maps that could be overpowered, but then again it's always up to the player to do the best about the situation and adapt.

What do you think of the ESWC maps that were decided to be played in the Grand Final? Do you agree with the switch to Echo Isles from Plunder Isle?
- That is a good change, even though echo isles is kind of imbalanced for orc players, but then again, u have to work it out how to beat the imbalance =)

If you were to choose 5 maps in an important tournament, how would that look, any why?
- I would choose what I thought was the best balanced maps and those would be, gnoll wood, turtle rock, twisted meadows, lost temple and echo isles, these are the most played maps right now, and therefor I would go for them

Okay, thank you very much for your time. Any shoutouts?
- The pleasure was all mine, wish us good luck in wc3l, and im looking forward to next season
