From the participating teams to the format and schedule for the VALORANT event at the 32nd SEA Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Scheduled to take place from May 5th to May 17th, 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the Southeast Asian Games 2023 (SEA Games 2023) will feature esports as medal events for the third time since the inclusion in 2019.  As the official media partner for the SEA Games 2023, GosuGamers is dedicated to presenting the hottest tournament coverage and exciting stories to you.

SEA Games 2023 will bring a total of six titles with nine events:

  • Valorant (PC): Team
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Mobile): Men's team and women's team
  • PUBG Mobile: Individual and team
  • League of Legends: Wild Rift (Mobile): Team
  • CrossFire (PC): Team
  • Attack Online 2 (PC): Individual and team

VALORANT the popular first-person shooter by Riot Games is one of them and is scheduled to run from May 8th to May 10th.

6 teams out of the 11 participating countries will compete for Valorant, and they will be duking it out at the NagaWorld Aeon 2 Sen Sok arena in Phom Penh.

Format and Schedule

The SEA Games 2023 VALORANT event is split into two stages:

Group Stage (May 8th & May 9th)
Single round-robin format
All matches are Bo1
Top 4 teams from group advances to Final Stage
Remaining teams from group are eliminated
All 6 teams are in the same group

Final Stage (10th May)
All final matches will have 3 maps (Bo3)
Featuring two semi-finals 
Bronze medal match featuring the losers of the semis
And one Grand Final
