After the onslaught in the semi finals, where Azubu finished of StarTale twice in a row with the result, 4-1, the take the lead of the GSTL finals after day one. And the result of the day was, surprise surprise, 4-1. Be it Azubu's lucky number or just their roster of players being insanely strong right now, the fact remains that Axiom-Acer needs to up their game if they want to bounce back tomorrow. After a dominant season from Axiom-Acer they are really pressured right now when it all comes down to it. Previously during the group stages, they only lost a match once (to StarTale, 4-2) and it was not as grim as this one.

Even the flag ship, the so called "freewin", went down. INnoVation playing on Fruitland, a map he is very used to, playing Terran vs Zerg, a match-up his very used to, but it still was not enough. RagnaroK mastered him without any all-in crazy strategies. He played a game that would favour the Terran but he played with great control and great patience and in the end managed to pull the upset victory.

The match of today was in the Proleague format where everyone just plays one game. The match tomorrow will be played with in All-kill king-of-the-hill style where a player continues until he loses. Azubu only used RagnaroK and SuperNova during their All-kill match versus StarTale, remains to be seen if it will go down in similar fashion tomorrow at 10.00 CET (18.00 KST) or if Axiom-Acer intends otherwise.
